Let's see ... I graduated from Mary Washington in 2003 with a degree in physics. For some reason, I said "screw you physics, I want to learn WEATHER" and so, I went for my masters in meteorology at Penn State. But my research was definitely more in the marine biogeochemistry side of meteo ... wait, there isn't that side to meteo. Whoops. So I have a degree in something I know nothing about! Now I pretty much want to say "screw you meteo, take me back to physics!" I occasionally wonder if Dr. Matts would let me back to do more electromigration research.
Currently, I'm working in numerical weather prediction. I'm a mix of secretary and scientist, it's quite intersting actually. I'm just happy that I have a job that makes money!
